National Research Integrity Framework

The new Law on Research and Higher Education from 2022 does not have provisions for research integrity. The Law prescribes that research and higher education institutions/organizations have ethics committees to protect and promote ethical principles in research. The National Research Council, appointed by the Parliament of Croatia, is tasked with establishing the minimal ethical principles that must be incorporated into ethics codes of higher education or research institutions.
