French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development (CIRAD)
The launching of the Cirad’s office for ethics and research integrity has been decided in 2016. Cirad is A French research centre working with developing countries to tackle international agricultural and development issues. Cirad has a shared ethics committee (today with 2 other research institutes, Inra and Ifremer) founded in 2001. This ethics committee made research integrity recommendations in his advice reports.

CIRAD (French Agricultural Research Centre for International Development) is a public establishment (EPIC) under the joint authority of the Ministry of Research and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The office for ethics and research integrity has 3 main objectives:
- implementation of the national charter for research ethics
- raising awareness, training on RI, and management of alerts and misconduct
- support for ethic appraisal of research activities.
