The Bonn PRINTEGER Statement: the organisational responsibility for research integrity

The “Bonn PRINTEGER Statement: Working with research integrity – guidance for research performing organisations” was finalized by the members of the consensus team during the PRINTEGER European Conference on Research Integrity 5-7 February 2018 in Bonn, Germany. The members of the consensus team came from different fields and countries across Europe. The Bonn PRINTEGER Statement focusses on the organisational responsibilities concerning research integrity rather than the responsibilities of the individual.

About the PRINTEGER Project

PRINTEGER (Promoting Integrity as an Integral Dimension of Excellence in Research) is a project funded by the European Union in the framework of Horizon 2020. Its mission is to enhance research integrity by promoting a research culture in which integrity is part and parcel of what it means to do excellent research, and not just an external and restrictive control system.
